Donate Meat

The U.S. meat and poultry industry offers Americans the most bountiful and affordable meat and poultry supply in the world. The industry believes that the United States is blessed to enjoy America's food supply.  Hunger in the United States is unconscionable and must be addressed aggressively.

AMI partnered with America's Second Harvest in 1989 in the fight against hunger. Since that time, millions of pounds of meat and poultry products have been donated to food banks in the Second Harvest network. Meat and poultry are the products most desired by food banks -- and least available. AMI is working hard to encourage additional donations to address the growing hunger problem.
